It looks like the EVO is the best. However there seems to be a handful of coolers that are just about on par (withing 1-3 degrees) and pretty close in price. So if you don't like the looks of the EVO maybe try something else.
Here's one: http://www.newegg.co...&Tpk=night hawk
This shows the Havik 140 at 3 degrees warmer than the EVO on the same setup. And then the Night Hawk a degree cooler than the Havik 140 on another setup. So I figure the Night Hawk might be 2 degrees warmer than the EVO?

CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO

Nothing comes close to it at that same price range in terms of performance.

Another option: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16835106188
The performer is up pretty high on the chart for that price: http://www.hardwares...r-Review/1729/6

The 212 is the only cooler to buy IMHO, it will take any good newer processor into a nice overclock and you don't go broke. You'll be paying much more than that for just maybe 0.2-0.3ghz more (which matters even less when your chip is at like 4.5-4.7ghz)

I just wanted to throw this out there, though the reviews aren't exactly glowing. 49,99 with a $10 rebate.

Good but not as good as Hyper 212 EVO (if Logisys and deepcool gamer storm are same OEM products)

I have one and it's great, never will get in the way of a memory slot. Great cooling as well, better than the EVO. It pains me to see that one go unpurchased for so long.

This is one of my favorite inexpspensive coolers. I have used it on several builds to excellent results.
