Hi Everyone,

I wasn´t planning on doing a worklog on this project as it was made as a pressent for the missus who loved her playstation 2 to play the tekken games but unfortunately it broke a few months back. So for her birthday I decided I would buy one and combine it with her other passion, corsets.

Now I´ve never owned a PS2 before nor have I opened one so I had to look it up and so on. Luckily I quickly found out that they are quite simple to take apart so that made my life easier. I also found out that the plastic they are made out is rather bad, and it was extremely hard to sand it down to get smooth edges. I´m not entirely happy with how the back window cut came out but I am extremely happy on how the final thing looked.

So here are 27 pictures from start to finish, most of them from the finish as I didn´t plan to do a worklog out of it, I hope you enjoy them, thanks for reading.

PS: The missus was delighted and loves her birthday pressie : )

Yes I am, and yes you will hahaha, I´ve been out of the "world" for the last 6 months due to life and work in general, but back to normal now and I´ve resumed work on APASF, and already ordering parts for the next project, so figured I´d catch up on all the forums and the new ones I had saved in the "to-do" list :P

Thanks My_Inner_Fred :D

Sweet I was absolutely loving what you were doing with APASF. Also nice to see all these old logs again. The Corset PS2 still in use?

:D I was worried people would recognise my work and think, oh god not these again lol :P

And I can only assume so, unfortunately I am no longer with her, so wouldn´t know, but I like to think it is : )

It´s all a question of finding out how expensive shipping would be really. The PS2 itself is rather cheap to buy second hand (I think I payed 65 of your USD for the PS2, 2 controllers, 2 mem cards and the tekken games, the PS2 alone being about 35 usd).

hmm I more or less just want the shell, I have a bunch of dead Fat Ps2s i can sawp parts around. I think within the larger models they modifed things like how many USB ports and removed the Firewire port. So that gets me thinking just the shell would not due :(

I´m not quite sure I follow, the 35$ pricetag I mentioned was for a complete PS2 (shell and innards :P)
