Does it seem to anybody else that hollywood has run out of ideas since all they seem to be able to do is remake movies that are 2 to 20 years old. To me this is BS. I wish those morons would come up with some new stuff not keep rehashing the stuff I have already watched some good some bad and they are remaking all it seems.
I know right.... seems like all the TV shows are all remakes of years ago and much of the movies are too.... I just seen a trailer for Total Recall....total different story line
Commodore64....playing Crysis on high

Seriously, the only good part of that movie is where the guy hanging from the railing lets go and hits the top of that smoke stack, I laugh every time.

That said, they do seem to be doing the recreation thing a lot more than before in the past 10 years or so. I blame CGI being so cheap compared to doing real special effects.

Booyah.

It's the same thing that's always happened in the arts. Everything is an evolution or recreation of something that's already been done. The same story, theme, melody, etc...just in different forms.

It's basically the CoD syndrome. They find something they know will make a ton of money then milk it until sales start declining. I'm hoping that movies and tv will find their "Valve" and their "Humble Indie Bundle" equlivant so that there will be a large influx of new ideas on old stories like there has been in gaming. Granted, CoD still makes golden yacht levels of cash but it's no longer impossible to be an indie dev. Hopefully we will see this trend continue.
I agree, all these polls are getting old real fast, try a pie chart, or if your feeling really adventurous try a histogram or two
