Hi all, I've always wanted to make a medium end gaming rig that is Micro ATX, they have always interested me. Something geared towards portability, airflow and not breaking the bank. I can go either Intel or AMD but I do have more experience with AMD products. I would like the budget to be around $800 CAD and I plan to sell the system upon completion and tests. Throw me some ideas and recomendations you guys have.
Specs:
NZXT H2 Chbuttis/ OCZ ModXtream Pro 700w/ Gigabyte 990fxa UD3 Socket AM3+/ AMD Phenom II X4 955 @3.7GHz/ Corsair Vengeance 12GB DDR3 @1600MHz
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560ti OC/ Antec Kuhler 620 cpu cooler
Auzentech Xraider 7.1 sound card/ 2x Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 500GB hard drives/ OCZ Agility 3 60GB Solid State Drive (Boot)

Why stop at matx? I just did a nice itx system with a i7 and 580.

There are some real nice lian Li cases out for itx

meh, not a fan of the prodigy, for a ITX case its fairly big, very similar in size to lian li matx cases.

Hmmm Im not sure if the APU will do it, I was thinking dedicated graphics like a GTX 560 or 7770 at least for the system and perhaps an AMD FX or Intel i5

You could always do Hybrid Xfire with a 7770..

I guess I shouldn't, I'll have to read some reviews and benchmarks, I want to build a system to sell that can pretty much handle anything. Thanks for the input lads.

Obviously it can't fix you breakfast or clean the house :teehee:
But yeah, in general, it should be able to handle anything.
