Even stock these ripped the other competitors a new hole, overclocked it just about destroyed them.

Even stock these ripped the other competitors a new hole, overclocked it just about destroyed them. Anyway - they look good and the price is right. The high frequency looks nice for not limiting your overclock in any way as well. -------------------- Desktop: | Q6600 @ 3.2 GHz | 128 GB GSkill Falcon | 8 GB WinTec AmpX | Sapphire 4870 X2 | DFI P35-T2RL | PCP&C Silencer 610 | W7 x64 | HTPC: | X3 720 BE @ 3.4 GHz | 4.5 TB Storage | 8 GB GeIL Black Dragon | PowerColor 4830 | ECS A-780GM-A | ATI Theater 650 Pro | OCZ Fatal1ty 550 | W7 x64 | Router/VPN/Compiling: | Opteron 175 | 4 GB DDR 500 | S3 Trio PCI VGA | Asus A8N-SLI SE | SinTek 500SLI | XP Pro | Office: | Dell Precision 390 | Core 2 Duo E6320 | 2 GB DDR2 667 | XFX 7800GT | Fedora 10 / Windows 7 RC | NetBook: | Asus EeePC 900A | 1.6 GHz Atom | 32 GB SSD | 2 GB DDR2 667 | Intel Integrated | W7 x86

On the synthetic benches they did pretty damn good. Further testing would need to be done in order to confirm whether or not they actually at stock "ripped the other competitors a new hole" and whether or not overclocked "it just about destroys them." -------------------- ![]() CASE: Antec P182 CPU: Xeon X3220MEMORY: 4GB DDR2 GPU: XFX 8800GTS (Alpha Dog Edition) + Gigabyte 8800GT for physx MOBO: Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6 PSU: Antec EA500 LCD: 20" Acer Widescreen OS: Windows XP - Use the following link to access the Official Overclockersclub Chat Room: OCC CHAT (be sure to set you browsers irc handler to your standalone IRC client) |

okay... okay... I had just barely woken up... On the synthetic benches they did pretty damn good. Further testing would need to be done in order to confirm whether or not they actually at stock "ripped the other competitors a new hole" and whether or not overclocked "it just about destroys them." I put zero faith in 3DMark other than as a synthetic benchmark. At normal resolutions what type of memory you have rarely makes more than 1-2% difference...even when the cost of high-end memory is often 30%+ higher. /disclaimer - very drunk This post has been edited by Waco: Nov 13 2009, 06:49 PM -------------------- Desktop: | Q6600 @ 3.2 GHz | 128 GB GSkill Falcon | 8 GB WinTec AmpX | Sapphire 4870 X2 | DFI P35-T2RL | PCP&C Silencer 610 | W7 x64 | HTPC: | X3 720 BE @ 3.4 GHz | 4.5 TB Storage | 8 GB GeIL Black Dragon | PowerColor 4830 | ECS A-780GM-A | ATI Theater 650 Pro | OCZ Fatal1ty 550 | W7 x64 | Router/VPN/Compiling: | Opteron 175 | 4 GB DDR 500 | S3 Trio PCI VGA | Asus A8N-SLI SE | SinTek 500SLI | XP Pro | Office: | Dell Precision 390 | Core 2 Duo E6320 | 2 GB DDR2 667 | XFX 7800GT | Fedora 10 / Windows 7 RC | NetBook: | Asus EeePC 900A | 1.6 GHz Atom | 32 GB SSD | 2 GB DDR2 667 | Intel Integrated | W7 x86

On the synthetic benches they did pretty damn good. Then again we live in the real world and not a synthetic one. Thus real world performance is the only factor to look at. Now you're getting it A05 -------------------- Mobo: Gigabyte EP45 EXTREME | Processor: Core 2 Quad Q9450 @ 4ghz 24/hr stable!
