My cell service provider has a special offer where the phones in the above poll are offered for $0 when I renew my contract (which is up for renewal this week).

What should I choose?

I'm not really that knowledgeable on the topic of phones.

I noticed the Samsung M320 got bad reviews. But that's about it. The others have mixes of good and bad reviews.

Hopefully the I did the poll right.

If the poll doesn't show, here are the phones:

Samsung M320

Motorola W315

LG 830 Vantage

Samsung ACE

Blackberry Pearl 8130

If you were to go with the blackberry, try for the 8330. I have had mine for a year and a half with a 4gb mini sd card in, 3g internet, and gps capable with the service it and it rocks. The pearl is limited in the storage department to what it comes with.

The W315 is a blah phone, I love motorola's they've never let me down until I got my last one which was a RAZR V3m, lef a horrible taste in my mouth after owning a v557a which was ultimately the best phone my wife and I have ever owned. I know sport a BlackBerry 8830 WE. I don't mind this phone, other then it has no camera, a big bummer for me since I don't carry a digital cam with me everywhere I use my phone for the in case factor. I will be purchasing a iphone myself most likely after the buyout in January. My buisness line is a LG AX300, crappy bottom of the line POS phone, but it works for what I need it. And he gave me a good deal on the set of them. I will never BUY an LG, period. Honestly If that's all that available, I'd toss 20-40 bux in and get a Berry 8330 ( My next phone if I don't get a Iphone). I have been looking at a new LG slider phone ( w/ a touch screen looks pretty sweet) but I havn't bought it cause I'm a strict anti-lg guy.

Never been big on Samsung, usually they break pretty quick.

The Pearl isn't a bad phone, however I don't care for the 2 letters per key, I'd rather have an original style, or a full berry.

Honestly it's all personal choice. I'd get a phone that Feels right... and base on your useage as well. I'm a heavy email, text, web guy so teh berry is perfect for me, and since I finally figured out how to do my ü I can now login to OCC .. w00t w00t.

Right now, I have a Motorola Razr V3C. It had a good run, but it's the next best thing to dead now. It can make calls and text, but that's it. Most of the buttons no longer work. I'm impressed, though, that it stood up to 3 years of abuse.

Yea my buddy had a good one, lasted him 3 years too or so, The hinge broke on mine, and it's not covered under warrenty they said. I've done some miraculous things with my moto's. Including revive them from the depths of a hack gone bad HAHA & surviving multiple falls from 2 stories, being tossed from the top of my car multiple times, drenched in coffee, Dew, and a variety of types of water including rain, it took being placed ( on accident of course ) under a floor jack under my 3380lb car, to break my 557. Damn phone still worked GREAT! but both screens ( outter and inner ) were shattered.

Most moto's I've owned have been thru this same torture test, I've had 2 W315's .. don't ask... Both were good phone, and pretty resilient. but it is definetly a CHEAP phone. Way behind when your talking about phone technology, I mean that phone still has an antennta... a functioning pull it out antenna, lmao, unelss they've revised it.

I picked up a phone today. I bought the LG Rumor 2.

Ugh, I have buyer's remorse.

What a piece this phone is. It has more problems than features (and trust me, it has lots of features). The interface is BEYOND clumsy. It's maddening.

I set the ringer to vibrate. Now, even when I set it to something else, the phone doesn't ring any more.

I tried to read the manual, but all it consists of is a breakdown of the menu. No actual helpfulness whatsoever.

This phone was a mistake.

As bad as my old phone was (3 year old Motorola Razr V3c), it's still better than this new one.

The Rumor wasn't even on your poll list. Also, did you not try out the phone in store or read reviews before buying it? If you didn't properly do your research, then I'm sorry, but you sorta deserve it.

This. I went and tried out the Droid before I bought it because I heard some people had issues with the keyboard. Taking a chance on that was something I couldn't afford due to the two year contract. When you are going to be using a device as often as you may use your phone you need to pick the right one.

On a side note, my Razr worked great for me as well.

I know, it wasn't in the poll because it wasn't a $0 phone. And I did tons of research. Reviews suggested that it was a good phone. I'm stuck with it, so I'll do whatever I can to make it work.

I just need to find a silver lining I guess, haha.

EDIT: I was at the store, but the only model of it was a nonworking one for display purposes only. I had originally planned on getting a $0 phone, but they had hardly any of them in stock as the went like hotcakes. There was a single Moto W315 and a Blackberry Pearl. The Blackberry needed a different plan and I didn't want to pay extra. The W315 is pretty oldskool and bulky looking.

However, thanks anyways to everyone. I'll have to live with it, I'll make it work.

There isn't a return period? Most providers offer a 30 day return period...
