A preview, more inside. I find this story rather funny. QUOTE ADAMS -- Veteran Adams Police Officer Alan C. Vigiard, 45, was arrested last week and charged with possession of child pornography. He has been placed on administrative leave pending further investigation, authorities said Monday.
According to state police reports, Vigiard, who is married with two children, allegedly downloaded and viewed child pornography in the Adams Police Department evidence room. He pleaded not guilty to the child pornography charge Friday in Northern Berkshire District Court. -------------------- | Intel Q6600 @ 3.4ghz | 2x2GB G.Skill | EVGA 9800GTX 512MB | Realtek HD | Logitech X-530 | Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80 headphones | | My TF2 Screenshots (Last updated: 11/01/09) | Youtube Channel (Last updated: 11/16/09; 1 new videos) | ![]() |

A police officer whose job is to upload the law. Is caught breaking several laws in the police station he works at. He then tries to delete the evidence he left of his misdeeds from the evidence room's computer, but that doesn't work. The irony of this story just puts a smile on my face.
Not a fan of some of the cops I've seen. Most of the one's I saw or interacted with act like bullies. Rather than the model police officer most of us wanted to be when we were kids. -------------------- | Intel Q6600 @ 3.4ghz | 2x2GB G.Skill | EVGA 9800GTX 512MB | Realtek HD | Logitech X-530 | Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80 headphones | | My TF2 Screenshots (Last updated: 11/01/09) | Youtube Channel (Last updated: 11/16/09; 1 new videos) | ![]() |

However, I know plenty of people who aren't exactly model citizens that swear all cops are corrupt. Coincidence? I think not. -------------------- Desktop: | Q6600 @ 3.2 GHz | 128 GB GSkill Falcon | 8 GB WinTec AmpX | Sapphire 4870 X2 | DFI P35-T2RL | PCP&C Silencer 610 | W7 x64 | HTPC: | X3 720 BE @ 3.4 GHz | 4.5 TB Storage | 8 GB GeIL Black Dragon | PowerColor 4830 | ECS A-780GM-A | ATI Theater 650 Pro | OCZ Fatal1ty 550 | W7 x64 | Router/VPN/Compiling: | Opteron 175 | 4 GB DDR 500 | S3 Trio PCI VGA | Asus A8N-SLI SE | SinTek 500SLI | XP Pro | Office: | Dell Precision 390 | Core 2 Duo E6320 | 2 GB DDR2 667 | XFX 7800GT | Fedora 10 / Windows 7 RC | NetBook: | Asus EeePC 900A | 1.6 GHz Atom | 32 GB SSD | 2 GB DDR2 667 | Intel Integrated | W7 x86

i was expecting something different along the lines of to many doughnuts or something so i was quite surpised at what was inside this article, the title doesn't hint at the disfunctional behavior described within... not funny at all -------------------- [Gamer]Core i7/860@3.7, Gigabyte P55UD5, CM HyperTX3, 4g GSkill Ripjaw, 2xSapphire4850x2, W7 Pro 64bit

Try to not look at the content, look at the overall picture. A cop is caught breaking laws at his place of work. Which is of course the police station. A place of work to catch criminals. Everyone here seems to see the words child pornography and just focuses on that and not the overall picture of what is happening.

Clearly the guy broke the law. Whether or not he was a cop really doesn't change that. It does, however, make it extremely ironic and somewhat hilarious. -------------------- Desktop: | Q6600 @ 3.2 GHz | 128 GB GSkill Falcon | 8 GB WinTec AmpX | Sapphire 4870 X2 | DFI P35-T2RL | PCP&C Silencer 610 | W7 x64 | HTPC: | X3 720 BE @ 3.4 GHz | 4.5 TB Storage | 8 GB GeIL Black Dragon | PowerColor 4830 | ECS A-780GM-A | ATI Theater 650 Pro | OCZ Fatal1ty 550 | W7 x64 | Router/VPN/Compiling: | Opteron 175 | 4 GB DDR 500 | S3 Trio PCI VGA | Asus A8N-SLI SE | SinTek 500SLI | XP Pro | Office: | Dell Precision 390 | Core 2 Duo E6320 | 2 GB DDR2 667 | XFX 7800GT | Fedora 10 / Windows 7 RC | NetBook: | Asus EeePC 900A | 1.6 GHz Atom | 32 GB SSD | 2 GB DDR2 667 | Intel Integrated | W7 x86

you must be really shocked about corrupt police. all the time we have issues with immoral police officers. not even here all over the US honestly.
but i guess people without first hand experience with the police/court system wouldn't really know. there is no joke in sexual crimes whatsoever... you want to talk about something funny you should of linked the article where a cop was confiscating marijuana and baking it into brownies for him and his wife. then after ingesting them they "freak out" and think they are "dying" and call 911 saying that they are dying from a overdose of marijuana. thats funny. or like when i cop locks his keys into a copcar while issuing a ticket. the seriousness of this offense is just.. well nothing to laugh at lol.. do you live in a very very nice area of FL? The police here in Gainesville are extremely corrupt, about a year ago a cop was caught soliciting prostitutes and propositioning women while on the job.
A one of them were only 14 years old!!! He was suspended then a few months ago they finally took his job and put him on some kind of probation. I was extremely pissed off when I heard he didn't get any jail time. Our system is so ... up. It seams nobody is watching the people that watch us -------------------- E6600 @ 3Ghz / PNY 8800 GTX oc / EVGA 680i / 4 Gb G.skill ddr2 800 / 320 Gb Seagate Barracuda / 650 watt PSU / Tuniq tower HSF / NZXT zero case / nvidia 3d vision glasses & 120hz Samsung monitor.

there is no joke in sexual crimes whatsoever... of course few policemen are in this class, but since a higher level of authority demands higher sense of responsibility the few in this case seriously have damaged the trust and credability of the many if i needed the police to come see about a crime or emergency at my house or in my neighborhood i certainly want these law enforcement officers to be above reproach, not checking out my son or daughter for some sick and twisted lewd schemes...this is just sick and these guys need the book thrown at them... -------------------- [Gamer]Core i7/860@3.7, Gigabyte P55UD5, CM HyperTX3, 4g GSkill Ripjaw, 2xSapphire4850x2, W7 Pro 64bit
