lookin at newegg tonight, and notice that a lot of things have a 0.99 shipping fee. When usually they are fedex free shipping. Newegg gettin 99 more cents per order. Greedy people lol

Oh god, the world is coming to an end! Newegg charges you a buck for shipping, so what. I never had free shipping from them anyway. In fact, I've wasted a lot of money RMA'ing stuff back to them.

well they obviously saw how many customers they have so they could afford to raise the price of shipping a buck and keep all their customers. besides its not like its seting u in the poor house

oh yeah.... one of the clowns that constantly comes in my store for stupid stuff smoke ~ $1400 of crap from them.



and the vid card prices... it's called supply and demand. I can't even get 256mb 9800 / x800 series cards DIRECT from ATI now... 6800's have all but dried up. I'm reduced to selling fx5500 cards to people who insist on having ANY 256mb card over a 128mb 9800. it sucks big time.

What's really annoying is that people have discovered the refurb section. Most cards are up for 2 days then sold out (my 9700 np was up for 10 minutes, then I bought what would seem to be the only one )

what i mean is newegg used to be usually in the top 3 for videocards on pricewatch..now its hard to find them on the first page

I am not sure if I vever got free shipping for NewEgg. But a buck more does not sound all that bad. About the video cards I think its out of NewEgg's hands, I mean Ati and Nvidia control the chips hey produce.

lol dream on General... dream on. I also have never gotten free shipping from Newegg.com which is to be expected but it was still a let down.
